July 4th Party

So every year for the 4th of July, or closest weekend to it, the Yates clan all gets together in Star Valley Wy. We look forward to it every year and this year did not disappoint. We had so much fun with family, and now that everyone has little ones running around, it was fun to just sit and watch them play! We swam, hung out, ate lots, went to Jackson Hole, floated the Snake River, and had a golf tournament. And apparently Riley did really well. You will have to ask him to tell you the story personally, I know if I try to tell it I wont get it right. :) He has been so proud and now wants to go golf all the time! Why does he have to choose such an expensive sport?
We also hit Cokeville on the way down and back from the reunion and as always had a good time. We were even able to sneak away for an hour to enjoy a good old 4-wheeler ride.
Since the 4th actually fell on a Monday we decided to party then too! We went to the Kaysville parade with some friends, ate lots of yummy food again, and watched the fireworks that night. I'm sure Cooper would have loved the fireworks too if he didn't sleep through the whole thing!! He was out just as they were starting didn't budge. Maybe next year he will like them. Hope everyone had a fun filled holiday weekend.
